Daniel Autenrieth develops AI systems and researches how intelligence emerges, becomes visible, and can be shaped across technical, biological, and social systems.
Next Step Culture develops AI systems for organizations, universities, culture, HR, and research. Reson8 is one building block for conversation processes, knowledge explication, qualitative evaluation, and turning findings into usable work and learning systems.
Heartful Science is a public-facing project by Pulse Data Insight, a company founded by Daniel Autenrieth and Prof. Dr. Thomas Zerm. Pulse Data Insight develops AI systems in the context of life science, health, prevention, and personalized health journeys.
Production AI systems, internal software, RAG and GraphRAG architectures, intelligent data infrastructures, and AI Operations for complex organizational contexts.
Systems and methods that make implicit knowledge, audience understanding, decision logics, and organizational data usable.
AI applications in fields where technical solutions alone are not enough: law, education, medicine, life science, culture, and public organizations.
The current research focus is on technical and educational-theoretical alignment of AI systems. At the center is the question of which value, knowledge, and preference structures become visible in Large Language Models and how they can be investigated empirically. The research does not only ask whether an AI system follows human consensus, but what alignment means when human values are themselves contested. Newer work extends this with cross-model comparisons and makes model choice visible as part of governance, evaluation, and responsible system design.
